Five reasons to race our upcoming three races!

While the European season is over, three more wonderful races outside Europe await us: Challenge Florianópolis in Brazil, Challenge Canberra in Australia and Challenge Salinas in Ecuador! And there are plenty of reasons to enter those races!

Challenge Florianópolis – 19 November 2023

  1. Swimming past one of the most beautiful coastlines in Brazil;
  2. The cycling course in a tourist area of ​​Florianópolis is predominantly flat and fast;

Challenge Canberra – 26 November 2023

  1. Swim a large one lap course without having to swim over the top of people with iconic landmarks surrounding you.
  2. The cycle course has everything, fast, flat, climbs, undulation – it’s not called Challenge Canberra for nothing!
  3. You get to cycle and run in the vicinity of some of Canberra’s and Australia’s iconic and scenic landmarks such as, the National Arboretum, the Australian War Memorial, the National Museum of Australia and more.
  4. The run course is a beautiful scenic run through Commonwealth Park and around Central Basin of Lake Burley Griffin – running past the Captain Cook Fountain, the Carilion and more.
  5. Great for spectators who can watch the whole swim from the foreshore, see loved ones and team mates on the bike several times as they pass the magnificent Rond Terrace event site and then watch them several times on the run – one of the best city Challenge races in the world.

Challenge Salinas – 10 December 2023

  1. Chipipe Beach, a welcome stretch of golden sand with calm, clear waters, perfect for the swim course.
  2. La Loberia, is home to the South American sea lion colony. You will be able to observe these beautiful animals in their natural habitat.
  3. La Chocolatera, is a well-known and visited place and the most western point of  South America where the force of the sea can be felt against the cliffs as it breaks against the first land
  4. In Salinas you can also enjoy bird watching. In the lagoons of Ecuasal you will be able to see a colony of Chilean Flamingos, egrets, the black-necked stilt, white-cheeked swallow ducks.
