Roth Triathlon Community Proud Once Again

DATEV Challenge Roth powered by hep has once again proven its exceptional position in the field of endurance competitions. At the “Sailfish Night of the Year” on 26 November in Langen near Frankfurt, Roth received the Race of the Year Award for the 11th time in a row, as voted by readers of Europe’s big triathlon magazine, Triathlon.

Kathrin Walchshöfer-Helneder, managing director of TEAMCHALLENGE emphasises the cohesion of the triathlon district Roth: “Many thanks to all who voted for the triathlon in Roth. Winning the race of the year award 11 times in a row is only possible together. So many people have a part in it, first and foremost of course our 7,500 volunteers. Without them it would not be possible. It is also only through the loyalty of our partners, the support from the towns and communities of the district of Roth and, last but not least, all the athletes and supporters that the race and this award are conceivable in this form. A big thank you to everyone for your contribution to the success of this event!”

In the online voting, 68.1% chose DATEV Challenge Roth powered by hep as the best race over the long distance, winning the vote ahead of the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii and Ironman Frankfurt. After the Bavarian Sports Award, the award for Race of the Year is already the second recognition within a very short time for the triathlon district of Roth. The 2023 race will take place on 25 June. On St. Nicholas Day, the last 300 individual entries will be awarded.
