Defended Titles at Challenge Cerrado on Brasilia’s 64th Anniversary

In a vibrant celebration of Brasilia’s 64th anniversary, the fifth edition of Challenge Cerrado welcomed 400 age group athletes this Sunday. Under the warmth of a beautiful sunny day, the city buzzed with excitement as competitors took to the starting line, eager to test their limits in the stunning heartland of the country.

This event, which has become a staple in the triathlon calendar, coincided with the city’s anniversary celebrations, adding to the festive atmosphere. In an impressive display of consistency and endurance, both overall age-group winners of the half-distance race successfully defended their titles, replicating their victories from the previous year. As the sun set on this memorable day, Brasilia closed its 64th anniversary with finish line celebrations with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
