Waiver / 서약서

• I understand that competing in the Event involves using public areas and roads used by other people and traffic and I am aware of the hazards involved. The hazards include but are not limited to: vehicle traffic, actions of competitors, spectators, Event personnel, weather conditions and my physical and mental state of health. In my judgment I have sufficient competence and experience to participate safely in the Event.
• I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in the Event and I have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person.
• I certify that as an individual athlete I will be 18 years of age or older on June 02, 2024 and as a team athlete I will be 18 year of age or older on June 02, 2024.
• I will follow the course set out for the Event, abide by the road and Event rules and follow the instructions given to me by Event officials, at all times. Failure to comply in any way with these matters may lead to me being removed from the Event and disqualified (at any time).
• I will wear the Event number and Timing Chip as directed by the Event officials. [I must return the Timing Chip after the event otherwise I will be charged US $100 for its non-return].
• Should the Event be cancelled or stopped for any reason, or personal circumstances arise that prevent me from participating in (or completing the Event), I accept that my entry fee is non-refundable.
• In consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors and assigns as follows:
• I HEREBY WAIVE, RELEASE AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability for death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft and all other foreseeable risks, claims or actions of any kind (including negligence) whatever and however occurring which may arise, at any time, from or in connection with, directly or indirectly, my participation in the Event, the following persons or entities: The Event Organisers, Event officials and personnel, land managers and/or owners, event sponsors, volunteers, Jeollabuk-do Province, Related Cities, Police, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, representatives, agents and volunteers.
• I HEREBY INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the persons or entities mentioned above from any and all liabilities, claims or actions (including negligence) whatever and however caused which may arise, at any time, as a result of or in connection with, directly or indirectly, my participation in the Event and vis-à-vis any third party, as far as this third party suffered any damage or injury during the Event due to my participation in the Event.
• I acknowledge that the Event Organizers reserve the right to alter the advertised course or start time (at their absolute discretion).
• I consent to receive any medical treatment that may be deemed necessary in the event of injury, accident or illness during the Event, and I allow that information to be passed on to the Event Organizers or third parties (as deemed necessary by the Event Organizers).
• I authorize the use of my name, voice and picture and any information provided by me on this entry form to be used without payment in any broadcast, telecast, communication, promotion, or advertising, and I also agree that the information I have provided may be used by the Event Organizers for the purpose of promoting future or other events or for the promotion of the Event charity(ies), race sponsors products and services.
• I acknowledge that the Event Organizers have the absolute discretion in the award of any prizes, prize money or third party prize or award and I will abide fully and without dispute with all such decisions of the Event Organizers.
• I have read all the Event safety information, rules and conditions detailed in this form and on the entry form (and/or as detailed on the event website www.challenge-gunsan.com) and I agree to adhere to these rules and conditions at all times.
• I have read and voluntarily sign this Waiver, Release and Liability Discharge Form and explicitly agree to its content.

• 본인은 대회가 일반 지역과 도로를 사용하기에 대회에 관련 없는 일반인과 차량이 도로를 사용할 수 있음을 알고 이에 대해 위험이 따를 수 있다는 것을 인지합니다. 차량, 다른 참가자의 행위, 관중, 대회 관계자, 날씨 상황 그리고 본인의 정신적 신체적 상황에 따라 위험성이 있을 수 있음을 알고 있습니다.  본인 스스로의 판단으로 본인은 대회에 안전하게 참여할 수 있는 능력과 경험이 있음을 확인합니다.
• 본인은 체력적으로 알맞고 대회에 참여할 수 있는 충분한 훈련을 가졌음을 증명합니다. 또한 적법한 의료인에게 대회에 참여할 수 없다는 진단을 받은 적이 없습니다.
• 본인은 개인 참가자로서 또는 릴레이 팀의 참가자로서 대회 당일인 2024년 6월 02일에 만 18세 또는 그 이상임을 증명합니다.
• 본인은 대회를 위해 정해진 코스와 교통법규와 대회 규정을 준수하고 항상 대회 관계자들의 안내와 지시에 따를 것을 약속합니다. 만약 본인이 이를 어길 시에는 언제든지 대회에서 실격되고 더 이상 참여할 수 없음을 이해하고 확인합니다.
• 본인은 대회 주최측에서 제공한 등 번호와 타이밍 칩을 착용할 것입니다. 대회가 끝난 후 즉시 타이밍 칩을 반환할 것이며 그렇지 못 할 경우 미화 100불을 지불하는 것을 확인합니다.
• 어떠한 이유나 개인적인 상황으로 대회 참여가 어렵다고 판단 되거나 대회가 최소 또는 중지될 경우 참가비는 환불이 되지 않는다는 점을 인지하고 확인합니다.
• 본인의 대회 참가 확인과 관련하여, 본인 스스로와 집행인, 관리인, 상속인, 친척, 후계자 그리고 양수인에게 다음과 같은 행위를 취할 것을 확인합니다.
• 본인은 대회에 참여함으로 언제든지 발생할 수 있는 사망, 장애, 부상, 파손, 분실 등의 모든 리스크나 과실을 포함한 직간접적으로 관련된 어떠한 문제에 대해서도 다음의 기관 또는 개인에게 어떠한 책임이나 불만을 묻지 않고 면책을 보장할 것을 약속합니다; 대회 주최자, 대회 관계자, 대회 장소의 소유자 또는 관리자, 대회 스폰서, 자원봉사자, 전라북도, 관련 시, 경찰과 이에 관계된 모든 임직원과 계약자, 대리인 그리고 에이전트 등
• 본인은 대회에 참여함으로 인해 언제든 어떠한 일이든 혹은 직간접적으로 어떠한 일과 관련되거나 제 삼자로부터 발생된 문제에 대하여 위 에 언급한 기관 또는 개인에게 어떠한 책임이나 불만을 묻지 않고 면책을 보장할 것을 약속합니다.
• 본인은 대회주최자가 코스를 변경하거나 시작 시간을 변경할 권리가 있음을 알고 있습니다.
• 본인은 대회 주최측이 부상 병력이나 대회 중 질병, 사고에 대한 병원기록을 받는 것에 동의하며 그 기록을 대회 개최자나 개최자가 지정하는 제 삼자에게 제출하는 것에 동의합니다.
• 본인은 본인이 대회 참가 시 제공한 이름, 목소리, 사진 그리고 개인정보를 별도 비용의 지불이 없이 대회 개최자가 대회 홍보용 또는 스폰서의 상품 및 서비스 이용을 목적으로 방송, 통신, 프로모션, 광고 등에 사용되는 것을 허락합니다.
• 본인은 대회 주최자가 상금이나 상품의 지급과 제 삼자가 제공한 상금이나 상품의 지급에 관하여 독점적인 권한이 있으며 이에 대한 아무런 이의가 없음을 밝힙니다.
• 본인은 대회의 위와 홈페이지에 언급된 안전지침과 규정에 대해 이해하며 이를 준수할 것을 약속합니다.

본인은 본 서약서를 읽고 자필 서명했으며 모든 내용에 명백히 동의합니다.
