[Waiver and Release Form]

• I understand that competing in the Event involves using public areas and roads used by other people and traffic and I am aware of the hazards involved. The hazards include but are not limited to: vehicle traffic, actions of competitors, spectators, Event personnel, weather conditions and my physical and mental state of health. In my judgment I have sufficient competence and experience to participate safely in the Event.
• I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in the Event and I have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person.
• I certify that as an individual athlete I will be 18 years of age or older on May 30, 2027 and as a team athlete I will be 18 year of age or older on May 30, 2027.
• I will follow the course set out for the Event, abide by the road and Event rules and follow the instructions given to me by Event officials, at all times. Failure to comply in any way with these matters may lead to me being removed from the Event and disqualified (at any time).
• I will wear the Event number and Timing Chip as directed by the Event officials. [I must return the Timing Chip after the event otherwise I will be charged US $100 for its non-return].
• Should the Event be cancelled or stopped for any reason, or personal circumstances arise that prevent me from participating in (or completing the Event), I accept that my entry fee is non-refundable.
• In consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors and assigns as follows:
• I HEREBY WAIVE, RELEASE AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability for death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft and all other foreseeable risks, claims or actions of any kind (including negligence) whatever and however occurring which may arise, at any time, from or in connection with, directly or indirectly, my participation in the Event, the following persons or entities: The Event Organisers, Event officials and personnel, land managers and/or owners, event sponsors, volunteers, Jeollabuk-do Province, Related Cities, Police, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, representatives, agents and volunteers.
• I HEREBY INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the persons or entities mentioned above from any and all liabilities, claims or actions (including negligence) whatever and however caused which may arise, at any time, as a result of or in connection with, directly or indirectly, my participation in the Event and vis-à-vis any third party, as far as this third party suffered any damage or injury during the Event due to my participation in the Event.
• I acknowledge that the Event Organizers reserve the right to alter the advertised course or start time (at their absolute discretion).
• I consent to receive any medical treatment that may be deemed necessary in the event of injury, accident or illness during the Event, and I allow that information to be passed on to the Event Organizers or third parties (as deemed necessary by the Event Organizers).
• I authorize the use of my name, voice and picture and any information provided by me on this entry form to be used without payment in any broadcast, telecast, communication, promotion, or advertising, and I also agree that the information I have provided may be used by the Event Organizers for the purpose of promoting future or other events or for the promotion of the Event charity(ies), race sponsors products and services.
• I acknowledge that the Event Organizers have the absolute discretion in the award of any prizes, prize money or third party prize or award and I will abide fully and without dispute with all such decisions of the Event Organizers.
• I have read all the Event safety information, rules and conditions detailed in this form and on the entry form (and/or as detailed on the event website www.challenge-gunsan.com) and I agree to adhere to these rules and conditions at all times.
• I have read and voluntarily sign this Waiver, Release and Liability Discharge Form and explicitly agree to its content.

• 본인은 본 대회(이하 ‘대회’)에 참가하는 것이 일반 대중 및 차량이 이용하는 공공장소와 도로를 사용하는 것을 포함하며, 이에 따른 위험 요소를 충분히 인지하고 있음을 서약합니다. 상기 위험 요소에는 차량 통행, 타 참가자·관람객·대회 관계자의 행동, 기상 조건, 그리고 본인의 신체적·정신적 건강 상태 등이 포함되나 이에 국한되지 않습니다. 본인의 판단하에, 본인은 본 대회에 안전하게 참여할 수 있는 충분한 역량과 경험을 갖추고 있습니다.
• 본인은 본인의 신체 상태가 건강하며, 대회 참가를 위해 충분히 훈련하였고, 자격을 갖춘 의료 전문가로부터 참가 불가 권고를 받은 사실이 없음을 증명합니다.
• 본인은 개인 참가자 또는 팀 참가자로서 2027년 5월 30일 기준으로 만 18세 이상임을 증명합니다.
• 본인은 대회 기간 동안 지정된 코스를 준수하고, 도로 교통 법규 및 대회 규칙을 준수하며, 대회 관계자의 지시를 항상 따를 것을 서약합니다. 본 사항을 위반할 경우, 대회의 어느 시점에서든 대회에서 배제되거나 실격 처리될 수 있음을 인정합니다.
• 본인은 대회 관계자의 지시에 따라 배번호와 타이밍 칩을 착용하겠습니다. [대회 종료 후 타이밍 칩을 반드시 반납해야 하며, 미반납 시 미화 100달러($100)의 비용이 청구됨을 인지합니다.]
• 사유를 불문하고 대회가 취소되거나 중단되는 경우, 또는 본인의 개인적인 사정으로 인해 대회에 참가하지 못하거나 완주하지 못하는 경우에도 참가비는 일체 환불되지 않음을 동의합니다.
• 본인은 본인의 참가 신청 승인을 조건으로, 본인 자신을 비롯하여 본인의 유언집행인, 관리인, 상속인, 직계가족, 승계인 및 양수인을 대신하여 다음과 같이 조치를 취합니다.
• 본인은 본 대회의 참가와 관련하여 직간접적으로 발생하는 사망, 장애, 신체적 부상, 재산상의 손해, 재산 도난 및 기타 예측 가능한 모든 위험, 청구 또는 소송(과실로 인한 경우 포함)에 대하여, 대회 주최자, 대회 관계자 및 스태프, 토지 관리자 및/또는 소유자, 대회 후원사, 자원봉사자, 전라북도, 관련 지자체, 경찰, 그리고 이들의 모든 임원, 이사, 직원, 독립 계약자, 대리인, 대표자 및 자원봉사자(이하 ‘면책 대상자’)의 모든 민형사상 책임을 영구히 면제, 해제 및 면책합니다.
• 본인은 본인의 대회 참가 결과로 인해, 또는 이와 관련하여 직간접적으로 발생하는 모든 책임, 청구 또는 소송(과실로 인한 경우 포함)으로부터 상기 면책 대상자들을 **보호하고 옹호하며 손해가 없도록 할 것(인뎀니티, Indemnify)**을 서약합니다. 이는 본인의 대회 참가로 인해 제3자가 손해를 입거나 부상을 당하여 발생한 제3자에 대한 책임까지 포함합니다.
• 본인은 대회 주최측이 절대적인 재량에 따라 공지된 코스나 출발 시간을 변경할 권리가 있음을 인정합니다.
• 본인은 대회 중 부상, 사고 또는 질병이 발생할 경우 필요하다고 판단되는 모든 의료 조치를 받는 것에 동의하며, 해당 의료 정보가 대회 주최측이나 주최측이 필요하다고 간주하는 제3자에게 전달되는 것에 동의합니다.
• 본인은 본인의 성명, 음성, 사진 및 본 참가 신청서에 기재된 모든 정보가 어떠한 대가의 지급 없이 방송, 중계, 통신, 홍보 또는 광고에 사용되는 것을 승인합니다. 또한, 본인이 제공한 정보가 대회 주최측에 의해 향후 개최될 대회 홍보, 대회 자선 단체 홍보, 레이스 후원사의 제품 및 서비스 마케팅 목적으로 사용될 수 있음에 동의합니다.
• 본인은 시상금, 상품 또는 제3자 시상의 수여에 대한 절대적인 결정권이 대회 주최측에 있음을 인정하며, 주최측의 모든 결정에 전적으로 따르고 어떠한 이의도 제기하지 않을 것을 서약합니다.
• 본인은 본 신청서 및 대회 공식 웹사이트(www.challenge-gunsan.com)에 명시된 대회의 모든 안전 정보, 규칙 및 조건을 숙지하였으며, 이를 항상 준수할 것에 동의합니다.
• 본인은 본 서약, 면책 및 책임 해제 동의서를 주의 깊게 읽었으며, 자발적으로 서명하고 그 조항에 명시적으로 동의합니다.
