We are pleased to announce the “Hero of the People” promotion for the 2026 Challenge Gunsan-Saemangeum. Following our previous initiatives for police officers, firefighters, and soldiers, the 2026 program will honor teachers.
We will select 10 applicants to receive a full waiver of the participation fee (excluding the $20 Registration fee).
Eligibility and Selection Criteria:
- Applicants must currently be employed as full-time elementary, middle, high school, or university teachers. (Part-time or after-school instructors are not eligible.)
- First priority will be given to those who have participated in global Challenge Family races.
- Second priority will be given to those with triathlon experience in Korea.
Application Process:
The recruitment period runs from January 16 to January 20.
To apply, please send your proof of employment (teacher ID), a summary of your competition experience, and your contact email to foreverwon99@gmail.com or info@challenge-korea.com. We will email registration links directly to the 10 selected participants.
While we highlight different professions each year, we encourage those in other occupations to look forward to future promotions.

2026 챌린지 군산-새만금 대회의 히어로 프로모션 안내입니다.
2024년 경찰과 소방, 2025년 군인을 이어 올해는 선생님들을 대상으로
2026 챌린지 군산-새만금 대회의 참가비 전액을 지원하는 “Hero of the People” 프로모션을 진행합니다.
히어로 프로그램에 지원하시는 분들은 아래 사항에 해당하셔야 하며 지원자 중 총 10분을 선정하여 등록 수수료 (20달러)를 제외한 참가비 전액을 지원합니다.
1. 현재 본업이 초등~대학교 교사 신분일 것. (겸임 또는 방과후 교사는 지원이 안됩니다)
2. 전세계 챌린지 대회에 참가한 경험이 있는 참가자 최우선권 부여
3. 국내 철인3종 대회에 참가한 경험이 있는 참가자 우선권 부여
4. 모집기간은 1/16~1/20일까지 (5일간)입니다
