Multi-Year Partnership Announced with Challenge Tri Camp

Triathletes around the world will benefit from today’s announcement that leading triathlon training camp and coaching provider, Challenge Tri Camp, and Challenge Family have confirmed a new three-year partnership.

The two organisations have worked together over a number of years and this new agreement will see this partnership further strengthened to provide a number of key benefits for athletes including access to Race Specific Training Camps and Race Entry options, as well as Race Specific Coaching Services for all levels of athletes.

Challenge Tri Camp’s CEO Brent Perkins comments, “Over the years our partnership with Challenge Family has always been beneficial for everyone, and this new agreement further extends our plan to work together in the triathlon community. The past 18 months has been very difficult for race organisers and we have had to postpone many of our planned camps, but we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel and what better way to celebrate than with our friends at Challenge Family.”

Richard Belderok, Challenge Family CTO comments, “Challenge Tri Camp are renowned for their work in many aspects of triathlon, from camps to coaching, and their unrivalled experience made it an easy decision for us to renew our partnership with them. We know Challenge Tri Camp’s worldwide audience of triathletes will be keen to enjoy the benefits of being part of Challenge Family.”

Challenge Tri Camp will provide seven or four night race training camps for specific Challenge Family events approximately six weeks prior to the event and then race packages for the race event week itself. These race training camps are designed to ensure each individual athlete is fully prepared for the Challenge event they have committed to.

As part of a Challenge Tri Camp Race Tour athletes will have the opportunity to:

  • Swim: Practice swim starts and exits on the course and get tips and drills to maximise swim potential as well as reducing times in transition.
  • Bike: Ride sections of the bike course, and review with the coaches the pinch points and build the optimal strategy to complete the bike course in the best possible time and still have the legs for the run.
  • Run: Recce the run course with our coaches, learn the route, plan for nutritional requirements

These pre-race training camps will enhance the race day experience and get athletes in peak condition both mentally and physically for the challenge ahead.

Challenge Tri Camp and Challenge Family will release specific race and race tour information in the coming weeks, with special offers for both race entry and camp bookings.
