Challenge Taiwan aims to share core values: ‘Love and developing triathlon’

With just a few days to go until CHALLENGETAIWAN – over six thousand athletes will start in Taitung this weekend – the local organization is looking forward to a spectacular race. Above all, they are looking forward to send a signal to the world. “Because of COVID-19, we have all come to understand more about how to live your life and how important it is to cherish the people around you. Our CHALLENGETAIWAN core value is sharing love, developing triathlon and let the world see the beauty of Taiwan”, said CEO of CHALLENGEFAMILY ASIA-PACIFIC Jovi Lo.

CHALLENGETAIWAN will therefore be dominated this year by the motto ‘create your own story’, something that is a wonderful statement especially in these remarkable times. “We started to return to family life and looking for an attitude of self-realization. We are very dedicated to promote triathlon as a wonderful sport, together with the Taitung government and we want to become the largest triathlon event in the Asia-Pacific region,” Lo explains.

This weekend there will be no pro race during CHALLENGETAIWAN, as foreign travel is not possible at the moment, but the experience will be no less. Everything will be done to offer the over six thousand athletes a great experience, an impressive race and especially a weekend to remember. “We all look back on a strange year in which a lot of people agree that we were not able to do everything we would have liked to do. At the same time we showed our strength by organizing the CHALLENGETAIWAN 2020-edition at the end of last year and coming weekend we are even going to top that. There is nothing better than looking for the connection with each other now.”

According to Jovi Lo, being affiliated with the CHALLENGEFAMILY label is great, especially at this time. “At CHALLENGEFAMILY, it’s all about family and we want to enjoy the sport together. The level of the athlete doesn’t matter at all: everyone is important for us and for every athlete a nice race is organized. These are the values we like to express with CHALLENGETAIWAN.”
