For CHALLENGEHEILBRONNthis German championship means the battle for the national title will be returning to Heilbronn after the last edition in 2016. ,,We are so excited that we’ve assigned to do this again”, said the organizers Kai and Rik Sauser. ,,We are definitely going to make this an amazing race and we will do everything we can to be a great host for every athlete.” The last time the German championships took place at CHALLENGEHEILBRONN in 2016, Andreas Böcherer and Laura Philipp were first to cross the finish line in their respective catagories and claimed the national titles. Kai and Rik Sauser are hoping that both German athletes will return to Heilbronn and make it an exciting battle again.

It’s wonderful we get the chance to host this national championship. We are pretty sure this will attract some really strong athletes and of course a lot of spectators. We think this will be good for everyone: for the athletes, for the crowd and for the city of Geraardsbergen”, said race director Kris Torrekens. ,,We can hardly wait and are really looking forward to our race day.”
