Challenge Family Pro Athlete World Bonus Decider at Clash Daytona

As well as racing for a share of the $100k prize purse at Clash Daytona this weekend, the professional athletes are also racing for final points to decide the outcome of the US$150k Challenge Family Pro Athlete World Bonus.

The Challenge Family World Bonus initiative was established to provide professional athletes with the opportunity to race for a share of a US$150k end-of-season bonus as well as the prize purse at races. Clash Daytona is the last points earning race of 2021 with the final placings being announced at a special ceremony immediately after the race.

The Challenge Family Pro Athlete World Bonus pays five deep across both men and women with the top ranked athletes taking home $30k, second earns $20k and third wins $14k, fourth $8k and fifth $3k. Ranking is decided through a points system based on placings earned at the athletes’ six best performances at Challenge Family races during the season, of which no more than one can be a full distance race.

In addition, Clash Daytona continues to be a qualifying race for The Championship for both pro athlete and age groupers with a top six finish. Top six teams in the male, female and mixed categories in relay events will also qualify for the prestigious The Championship which takes place on 22 May 2022 at the x-bionic sphere in Samorin, Slovakia featuring the best of the best Challenge Family professional and age group athletes from around the world.
