The votes are in with the winners of the 2022 Challenge Family Race Awards announced at the annual race director’s meeting, this year held at Anfi Resorts on Gran Canaria, home to Anfi Challenge Mogán Gran-Canaria.
The Challenge Family Awards provide recognition to the race directors for their contribution to the sport of triathlon are decided by the votes of thousands of athletes from around the world.
“The Challenge Family Awards really highlight our commitment to #AllAboutTheAthlete,” said Jort Vlam, Challenge Family CEO. “Not only do they celebrate the races that have truly excelled this season, but also the athletes. The awards are not chosen by us, but by the athletes. It is their voice that counts and it is their voice that is celebrated, alongside the races. Times continue to be tough in the event industry and while only a handful of races could win awards tonight, I’d like to acknowledge the dedication of all our race teams who, without exception, give everything to the sport and who are committed to ensuring every athlete has the race of their life.”

Best Finish Line Party – Challenge Peguera-Mallorca, Spain
