Athletes swim in a pristine rowing course surrounded by luxury hotels, bike through the historic city on wide, smooth roads, and run along paths lined with cheering locals and iconic sights. 2023: Funk and Salthouse Set the Bar High<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The inaugural edition in 2023 saw German powerhouse Frederic Funk and Australia\u2019s Ellie Salthouse deliver dominating performances in what was widely called a \u201crace of insane speeds.\u201d Funk blitzed the bike course at nearly 50 km\/h and never looked back, holding off top-tier competitors like Aaron Royle and Filipe Azevedo for a commanding win in 3:38:34.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
