Few people have meant as much to the sport of triathlon within their own country as Richard Varga. The Slovak has been at the top level of the world for years, achieved amazing results by doing so, and most personally made the sport of triathlon bigger and bigger within Slovakia. It should therefore come as no surprise that Varga wanted to experience his last race as a professional athlete yesterday during The Championship in Samorin. That produced beautiful, emotional images as he crossed the finish line with his two daughters.<\/a><\/p>\n\n
