Alistair Brownlee definitely is one of the most accomplished triathletes in history, renowned for his dominance in the Olympic distance and his successful transition to other triathlon formats. But “it’s time to close this chapter” as Brownlee today announced his immediate retirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brownlee was a Challenge Family ambassador – including branding on his race and training kit – and also he raced in pretty a lot of CF-races around the globe. Some of his best CF-victories were those at Challenge Mogan-Gran Canaria and the Challenge North America Championship, but of course Brownlee is very well-known to a lot of other spectacular performances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olympic Distance Triathlon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            1.         Olympic Gold Medals<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \u2022          Rio 2016: He repeated his gold medal win, becoming the first male triathlete to achieve this feat in consecutive Olympic Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            2.         ITU World Champion (World Triathlon Series)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \u2022          2009 and 2011: Alistair claimed the world title during these seasons, showcasing consistent dominance against the global elite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            3.         European Triathlon Champion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \u2022          2009, 2010, 2011, and 2014: He dominated the European scene, winning multiple continental titles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            4.         Key Member of the Mixed Relay Team<\/p>\n\n\n\n
