A beautiful and iconic race like <\/span>CHALLENGE<\/i><\/b>SHEPPARTON<\/span><\/i> deserves an equally amazing pro field and therefore it is that <\/span>CHALLENGE<\/i><\/b>FAMILY <\/span><\/i>proudly presents some very strong athletes who will race in Australia. Including athletes like Levi Maxwell, Tim van Berkel, Tim Reed, Matt Burton, Steve McKenna, Terenzo Bozzone, Radka Kahlefeldt, Hannah Wells, Grace Thek and Amelia Watkinson racing for victory, spectacle seems guaranteed.<\/span><\/p>\n

With almost fifty pros at the start, <\/span>CHALLENGE<\/i><\/b>SHEPPARTON<\/span><\/i> which will be held on April 5th 2020, is remarkably busy and the best athletes in the world manage to find the race in Australia. Not that strange because of the unique flat and fast course, not only perfect for Age Groupers, but also ideal for all the pros looking for breaking personal bests and maybe even course records. Of course the local community, volunteers and spectators from all over the world coming to Australia, will cheer all athletes on their way to become the best they can be.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The pro race will consists out of a 1.9km swim, a 90km ride and a 21.1km run, and offers a completely new course with the event being held at the iconic Victoria Park Lake, Shepparton. The new course will deliver the same outstanding experience for triathletes that has made Shepparton one of the leading stops in the Australian calendar.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the single-lap swim in the beautiful Victoria Park Lake, the fast, flat bike course is two 45km laps through iconic rural landscapes. The run course consists of three laps of lake, river and bush trails through the forest and alongside tranquil river flats with the finish, including legendary Shepparton crowds, on the banks of Victoria Park Lake in the centre of town.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
