CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong>FAMILY<\/em> is launching the CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong>FAMILY<\/em> Awards <\/strong>for the first time in its history to reward the race organisers, volunteers and all people which put on incredible CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong>FAMILY<\/em> races around the globe year after year. Starting on this Friday, November 15 at 20:00 CET, you can vote for your favourite race until December 8 (23:59 CET) and the winners will be announced on December 17.<\/p>\n

“As CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong>FAMILY<\/em> we highly value the voice of the athlete. After every race we send out a survey to learn what is good and what could be done better. This questionnaire is an important instrument for our race directors to keep improving the race experience and the service level from year to year. So we invented the CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong>FAMILY<\/em> Awards<\/strong> to give a bigger vote to the athletes and bringing our slogan #allabouttheathlete to life,” Jort Vlam explains on behalf of CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong>FAMILY<\/em>. “On top of that, it’s a great way to reward the organising teams of the best races for their efforts in delivering excellence. And last but not least the Awards will stimulate all our race directors to grow in their job to offer the best possible race experience.”<\/p>\n

Voting Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n

The races will be nominated in the following categories:<\/p>\n

\nBest Swim Course
\nBest Bike Course
\nBest Run Course
\nBest Fans
\nBest Pasta Party
\nBest Finish Line Party
\nBest New Race
\nBest After Race Food
\nMost Eco-Friendly Race
\nMost Family-Friendly Race<\/p>\n

The Voting Procedure Setup:<\/strong> The highest scores of the Athletes Surveys resulted in four nominated races per category. Based on the nominations athletes and fans can vote for their favorite race online on www.challenge-family.com\/awards<\/a>. Besides choosing between nominated races in each category, people can vote for the Challenge Family Race of the Year<\/strong>. All winners will be announced on December 17th<\/sup> in Daytona Beach.<\/p>\n

With more than 30 world-wide races in over 20 different countries the CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong>FAMILY <\/em>race series is bringing fascinating, family friendly and truly unique triathlon events to more people than ever before! #wearetriathlon is the chosen motto that connects all races within the CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong>FAMILY <\/em>and as every single race differs in its cultural setting, course layout and culinary highlights it is time to honor the individual character of the races and the race organisation teams behind the events.<\/p>\n
