The partnership with <em><strong>CHALLENGE<\/strong><\/em><em>DAYTONA highlights their commitment to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including designation as Presenting Sponsor of the Junior Challenge, Interactive Kids\u2019 Zone, and Corporate Relay, in addition to the Sprint and Middle Distance Triathlon Events.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Chip Wile, President of Daytona International Speedway, expressed his appreciation of the new partnership. \u201cThe Y is an integral part of daily life for so many of us here in Volusia County,\u201d he said. \u201cNot only do they provide incredible facilities for fitness and other community activities, they work to support and engage individuals from all walks of life, and to provide opportunities for growth and achievement. It\u2019s hard to imagine a better partner to support the inaugural <em><strong>CHALLENGE<\/strong><\/em><em>DAYTONA event, given the alignment in our mission and values.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The <strong><em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>DAYTONA <\/em>festival weekend will be the first of its kind at Daytona International Speedway. The schedule of events offers something for every level of athlete, including Sprint and Middle Distance Triathlons, the Junior Challenge kids\u2019 race, Relay categories, Duathlon and Aquabike events, 10K run and 5K run\/walk events, and the all-new NASCAR-inspired Pitstop Challenge. The top six male and female finishers in each Middle Distance Triathlon age group will qualify for\u00a0<strong><em>THE<\/em><\/strong><em>CHAMPIONSHIP,\u00a0<\/em>to be held on June 2<sup>nd\u00a0<\/sup>2019 at the x-bionic sphere in Samorin, Slovakia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About<\/strong>\u00a0<em><strong>CHALLENGE<\/strong><\/em><em>DAYTONA<\/em><br \/>\nAre you ready to swim, bike, and run at the \u201cWorld Center of Racing\u201d? From December 7th-9th, 2018, Daytona International Speedway will welcome triathletes and triathlon fans from around the world to <em><strong>CHALLENGE<\/strong><\/em><em>DAYTONA<\/em>.
