{"id":16916,"date":"2017-12-18T13:49:50","date_gmt":"2017-12-18T13:49:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.challenge-family.com\/challenge-family\/uncategorized\/challengefamily-welcomes-new-addition-family-challenge-riccione\/"},"modified":"2024-05-29T15:46:58","modified_gmt":"2024-05-29T15:46:58","slug":"challengefamily-welcomes-new-addition-family-challenge-riccione","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.challenge-family.com\/challenge-family\/news\/challengefamily-welcomes-new-addition-family-challenge-riccione\/","title":{"rendered":"CHALLENGE FAMILY WELCOMES A NEW ADDITION TO THE FAMILY WITH CHALLENGE RICCIONE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>CHALLENGE<\/strong><em>FAMILY<\/em><strong> WELCOMES A NEW ADDITION TO THE FAMILY WITH <em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>RICCIONE<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>FAMILY <\/em>has announced a brand new race in its global series as <strong><em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>RICCIONE, <\/em>a race set held in one of the most historic cities in Italy, will replace<em> <strong>CHALLENGE<\/strong>RIMINI<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Debuting on 6th May 2018, <strong><em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>RICCIONE <\/em>will maintain most of its original characteristics associated with <strong><em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>RIMINI,<\/em> with triathletes set to experience swimming in the calm waters of the Adriatic Sea, a cycling route leading from the sea to the green hills, and returning to the sea for a fast race path along the seafront to the finish.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter 5 years of <strong><em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>RIMINI<\/em>, we decided to change the location to give athletes and spectators a new race experience\u201d said <strong><em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>RICCIONE<\/em> Race Director, Alessandro Allesandri. \u201cWe are very excited about debuting the new <strong><em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>RICCIONE<\/em> course to the <strong><em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>FAMILY<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe goal of <strong><em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>RICCIONE<\/em> is to offer an event that will showcase many of the historic features that our city can offer\u201d continues Alessandro. \u201cThis includes the opportunity to sample the culinary specialities of the Emilia Romagna region and experience the world famous hospitality from the hotels around the venue. We also look to offer all athletes and spectators a long weekend of relaxation\u00a0before and after the race\u00a0in the spa location of the\u00a0Riccione\u00a0Terme\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Zibi Szlufcik, CEO of <strong><em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>FAMILY<\/em> says: \u201cThe beautiful city of Riccione and picturesque region of Emilia Romagna are absolutely ideal to welcome athletes from all over the world. The stunning beaches of Riccione, the warm weather and a spectacular bike course are key elements of the new <strong><em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>RICCIONE<\/em>, providing a brilliant early season race which we are all at <strong><em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>FAMILY<\/em> looking forward to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With the debut event just around the corner <strong><em>CHALLENGE<\/em><\/strong><em>RICCIONE <\/em>will hope to establish itself as the perfect way to open the triathlon season.
