The newest middle distance Challenge Family Brazilian event will be held in the national capital of history and culture heritage

Challenge Salvador will be in the Brazilian capital of carnival, also known as the land of magic, in October of this year for the middle distance race (1.9k / 90k / 21k). The swimming will be at the Piatã beach, where the event will also be located. Piatã beach is also known as one of the most popular addresses of the city, with 35 kilometers of waterfront, surrounded by coconut trees, crystalline water, mild temperature.

The cyclying will leave Piatã towards Itapuã beach – inspiration for the song “Afternoon in Itapuã” composed by the Brazilians Toquinho and Vinicius de Moraes, in which the triathletes will always bike by the sea. In the run, the athletes will go from Piatã towards the district of Patamares, in a landscape that has the encounter of the river with the sea.
