Behind the Lens with Marathon-Photos.com

While race day is all about the athlete, there are those behind the lens who also go the distance from the starter’s gun to the last burst of confetti…
Marathon-Photos.com – we go the distance
Marathon-Photos.com has connections with the Challenge Family going right back to the first Challenge Family event in Roth in 2002.
Since 1999 Marathon-Photos.com has photographed more than 5500 endurance events in 66 countries. It was the first company in the world to display marathon photos online, searchable by name or bib number. To date the business has photographed 25 million athletes worldwide, with more than 130 million images online.
The company is proud to have teamed up with Challenge Family as the preferred official photographer – and there are good reasons for this.
“We know triathlons,” says Marathon-Photos.com managing director Francis Kay.
“Many of our key photographers worldwide have completed triathlons and we know the images that athletes want recorded from their race.”
A triathlon is an achievement and Marathon-Photos.com is there to capture every leg from the first across the line to the end of the event.
“Regardless of the weather, or the light, of the lateness of the hour, our people don’t move until the last person is across the finish line,” Francis says.
He praised the Challenge Family for the amazing atmosphere generated at each event.
“There is as much importance attached to the race winner as to the last across the finish. I love the tradition of the winner being there to welcome the final finisher. Challenge Family events are joy to be involved with for the incredible family atmosphere they always have.”
Marathon-Photos.com keeps event images online permanently. If you’ve been in a previous Challenge Family event that they’ve photographed, you’ll still be able to view your images at http://www.MarathonPhotos.com
And if you’re competing at Challenge Paguera Mallorca or Challenge Forte Village Sardinia this October, look out for the Marathon-Photos.com team around the course and at the finish. They’ll be going the distance with you.
